Terms of Use for Position.Social

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Position.Social and its related services. By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

1. Eligibility

• Be at least 18 years old
• Have legal capacity to enter a binding agreement
• Provide accurate account information
• Comply with applicable laws and these Terms

2. About Position.Social

Position.Social is a professional network and trust-based ecosystem to help members build credibility, discover relevant people and opportunities, participate in outcome-driven discussions, and engage in curated events and collaborations.

We may add, change, pause, or remove features at any time.

3. Account registration and security

You are responsible for your credentials, all activity under your account, and keeping profile data accurate.

You may not impersonate, create false identities, share accounts without permission, or bypass security/access controls.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or create security, legal, or trust risks.

4. Acceptable use

You agree to use Position.Social lawfully and responsibly. Prohibited conduct includes:

• Harassment, threats, abuse, intimidation
• False, misleading, defamatory, or fraudulent content
• Spam, scams, or deceptive schemes
• Manipulating trust signals, votes, reactions, or visibility
• Uploading malware or harmful code
• Unauthorized scraping or extraction of data
• Intellectual property or privacy violations
• Interfering with platform integrity, availability, or security
• Promoting illegal, harmful, or exploitative conduct

5. User content

You retain ownership of content you submit ("User Content").

By posting User Content, you grant Position.Social a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, process, display, reproduce, distribute, and use that content as needed to operate, improve, promote, and secure the Services.

You represent that you have rights to post the content and it complies with laws, these Terms, and Community Guidelines. We may remove or restrict content that violates policies or creates safety/legal concerns.

6. Platform moderation

We may review content and behavior, remove content/profiles, restrict reach or functionality, suspend/terminate accounts, and investigate misuse, fraud, or manipulation using automated systems and human review.

7. Paid features, subscriptions, and billing

Some features may require payment. If you purchase paid services, you agree to listed fees and taxes. Billing may recur unless canceled. Pricing may change with notice. Refunds are subject to stated terms or applicable law.

Failure to pay may result in suspension or loss of paid feature access.

8. Intellectual property

Platform content/materials (excluding User Content), including branding, software, design, logos, text, graphics, workflows, and functionality, are owned by or licensed to Position.Social and protected by law.

You may not reproduce, reverse engineer, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, or commercially exploit any part of the Services without prior written permission.

9. Feedback

If you submit suggestions or feedback, we may use them without restriction or compensation.

10. Third-party services

Services may integrate with third-party tools, links, payment processors, meeting tools, event systems, or identity systems. We are not responsible for third-party services, availability, or conduct.

11. Event participation

For online/offline events, discussions, and expert sessions, your conduct must follow Community Guidelines. Access may be moderated, limited, or revoked. Some events may be recorded.

12. Disclaimers

Position.Social is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, outcomes, business results, introductions, hires, funding, sales, partnerships, matches, or error-free performance.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Position.Social and related parties are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages.

Total liability shall not exceed amounts paid by you to Position.Social in the 12 months before the claim, or the minimum required by law if no payment was made.

14. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Position.Social and related parties from claims/losses arising from your use of Services, User Content, Terms violations, or rights violations.

15. Termination

You may stop using Services at any time.

We may suspend/restrict/terminate access if you violate Terms, create legal/safety/trust risks, harm users/platform, or if required by law/operations. Surviving sections remain in effect.

16. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after updates means acceptance.

17. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India.

Any disputes are subject to the courts located in Chennai, India, unless another forum is required by law.
